Cambridge International Education has published the final exam timetable for the March 2027 series. If you’re sitting Cambridge IGCSE, AS Level, or A Level papers in Administrative Zone 4 — which covers the UAE and the wider Middle East region — here are the confirmed dates, organised by week and by subject, along with what this timetable means for how to use the preparation time between now and February.
This is the final version of the timetable, published July 2026. Administrative Zone 4 is the Cambridge designation for the Middle East and North Africa region — the UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and surrounding countries. If your school sits in this zone, these are your exam dates.
The written paper examinations run from Wednesday 3 February to Thursday 4 March 2027. Practical exams and speaking/listening components operate within test date windows that run across January and early February 2027. All sessions are designated either AM (morning) or PM (afternoon). Both designations are shown in the tables below.
One thing worth being clear about upfront: this is the March 2027 series, not the May/June 2027 series. Not all subjects are available in the March series. Subjects like Additional Mathematics, Global Perspectives, and certain language papers appear here; others that are exclusively available in the May/June series won’t be on this timetable at all. If you’re looking for a subject and can’t find it, it may only be examined in May/June.
Key time zone note for UAE students: the Key Times for Administrative Zone 4 are published separately at cambridgeinternational.org/keytime. Make sure your school has confirmed the exact start time for each session in the UAE, as local start times differ from the timetable’s reference times. Your school’s exams officer is responsible for communicating this to candidates.
Test Date Windows for Practicals and Speaking Exams
Several components are not fixed to a single date — they have a window during which centres can schedule the assessment. These include speaking endorsements, listening tests, practical components, and coursework submissions. The windows from this timetable are:
Cambridge IGCSE
Cambridge International AS Level
Cambridge International A Level
How to Use the Time Between Now and February
The first paper is Wednesday 3 February 2027. From today — late July 2026 — that’s roughly 27 weeks. That’s not a lot of time if it’s all spent loosely, but it’s a meaningful amount if it’s structured correctly.
The timetable itself is a useful planning tool before it’s anything else. Look at when your papers fall and identify which ones cluster together. IGCSE Maths sits on 3 and 15 February — two separate papers, two separate weeks, with Chemistry and Physics practicals in between. A student sitting Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Maths is managing a schedule that runs almost continuously from 3 February to 4 March, with papers on most days of most weeks. That’s an endurance challenge as much as an academic one, and preparation needs to reflect it.
The standard recommendation for this kind of revision window is a three-phase approach: foundation and gap-finding from now until October, consolidation and past paper introduction through November and December, and intensive past paper timed practice from January until the first paper. The specifics depend on which subjects you’re sitting and where your current gaps are — which is why a diagnostic is the most useful starting point, not a generic revision schedule applied to everyone equally.
The subjects where early preparation matters most for March 2027
Mathematics (IGCSE 0580 and Cambridge International 0607) has papers on both 3 February and 15 February. Students who arrive at February still patchy on algebraic manipulation, quadratics, or coordinate geometry will feel that across both papers. Chemistry, Biology, and Physics all have practicals in early February alongside theory papers later in the month. The practical components tend to be deprioritised in preparation and then cause more damage than expected on the day. Starting there now is worth more than it sounds.

What is Administrative Zone 4 in the Cambridge exam timetable?
Cambridge divides the world into administrative zones for exam scheduling purposes. Zone 4 covers the Middle East and North Africa, including the UAE, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and neighbouring countries. Students in UAE schools using Cambridge qualifications sit papers according to the Zone 4 timetable, with Key Times (start times) set separately by Cambridge for this zone.
